At CKSource we produce software components that other developers use to build their applications (WYSIWYG editor, file manager, document converters, etc.). Our flagship product is CKEditor 5 – an open-source, modern JavaScript (soon TypeScript) rich text editor with custom data model and virtual DOM – check our GitHub repository.

Your New Role:

As part of a portfolio of best-in-class developer tools, we are looking for a person who will join our QA team to help us to keep the quality of our products at the highest level. The perfect candidate would have a mix of soft and technical skills and be open-minded, patient, and creative.

As a QA team member, you will be responsible for the quality of products within the Cloud Services project and our crucial customer-facing platform - Customer Portal. We guarantee support from our QA Engineers who will introduce you to projects and help you during your onboarding. We know how important the first days in a new job are, so we will make sure that you will have time to learn about our products and how we work 🙂

Key Responsibilities:

  • manual testing of our products and websites;

  • API testing;

  • stress testing and regression testing;

  • creating test automation and automation scripts;

  • reporting and verifying issues in our issue trackers;

  • supporting developers in customers’ technical support;

  • communicating with the development team;

  • improving your technical and soft skills.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role you need the following:

  • 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer;

  • you need to love testing; we know how important job satisfaction is on a daily basis;

  • strong understanding of how web applications work (both client-side and server-side);

  • strong JavaScript foundations and solid HTML and CSS knowledge;

  • experience in testing back-end technologies;

  • practical experience with creating test automation using Cypress;

  • good command of English (B2-C1), as you will be a part of the international team;

  • you have the will to expand your knowledge and experience (technical and soft skills).

Nice to have:

  • projects portfolio on GitHub;

  • experience with Docker;

  • experience with Node.js;

  • experience with AWS;

  • knowledge of web security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
