About The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales & Customer Success to lead our revenue growth and customer retention efforts. This role is perfect for a multi-dimensional sales leader who thrives in driving direct sales, co-selling with partners, and expanding existing customer relationships. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring our customers derive maximum value from our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales-Assisted New Business Growth. Own and drive sales-assisted new business growth, running consultative sales cycles from qualification to close.

  • Retain and Expand Customers. Develop and execute strategies to maximize customer retention, renewals, and expansion revenue through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.

  • Manage the Sales and Success Teams. Direct and nurture the sales team (account executives, business development reps) and the customer success team (customer success mgrs, onboarding specialists) to deliver world-class sales and CS experience. 

  • Build and Grow Pipeline. Build, maintain, and optimize the sales and renewal pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

  • Optimize Customer Success. Design and implement world-class customer success programs, enhancing onboarding, engagement, and customer advocacy.

  • Expand the Partner Channel. Establish strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs.

  • Collaborate with X-Functions. Collaborate effectively with Marketing (including the Self-Service motion), Product, Support, and Engineering teams to refine sales motions, messaging, SS handoffs, customer engagement, product innovation and growth. 

  • Know Market Trends and Research. Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to refine our positioning and pricing strategies.

  • Represent Uploadcare to the Market. Represent Uploadcare at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences; travel as necessary for company meetings, sales meetings, events. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS sales selling developer tools with a strong track record of hitting and exceeding targets.

  • Proven success in driving new business, managing renewals, and growing existing accounts.

  • Deep customer focus, with the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for optimizing sales and customer success processes.

  • Strong leadership and coaching ability, with experience in hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performing sales and customer success teams.

  • Location:  United States or Canada is preferred.
